Information
The City of Conway Building Permits & Inspections department is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the City’s adopted construction codes. The office processes multiple types of construction permit applications, conducts plans reviews of construction plans, and schedules and performs subsequent field inspections to verify compliance with the City and State building safety standards. The process of building permits and inspections provides the citizens of Conway with a safe built environment in their homes, schools, churches, shops, and places of work and business. Our office is committed to protecting public safety, property values, and the character of Conway.

Permit applications
Trade permit applications may take 1-2 business days to process. Residential permit review may take up to 3-5 business days. Commercial permit review may take 2-3 weeks.
Review timelines are based on submission of sufficient plans and documents. Applications submitted electronically via the Civic Access Portal will be given priority in processing.
